I came to the United States as a refugee from Egypt in February 20, 2000, to Baton Rouge, LA. It was a relief for me because of the experiences I have to go through. In the United States, the main challenges I have to overcome was the language and culture differences. In Sudan, the main spoken language is Arabic, but the language and culture barriers have not stop me to pursue my passion for education. Those barriers have become a motivation the lead me to where I am today in this life.
