My name is M. Angelo and I was born and raised in Africa-Sudan. After I completed my high school the door to my future was shut because of the instability in the country and the ongoing civil war which have devastated the country economically and socially. The only choice after my high school was either to join the military in such a young age or leave the country. I chose to leave my country and I was able to travel to Cairo-Egypt in 1999, seeking a better life and education opportunity. Living in diaspora is very challenging, but I stayed focused through all the storms of life which shaped whom I am today as a person.
